71 lbs lost - Before / Current with pictures

Hi,

Ok the before / after pics have always been a big source of inspiration for me, so i thought I should do one.

Anyway, I registered on here in June 2010 but didn't start properly until Jan 2011 and since then I've lost 32.5kgs (approx 71lbs) for the record I'm 175cm which is about 5ft 9/10 (i think!).

I have always shied away from pictures and have almost none, hence the below "BEFORE" picture is actually a scan of my passport - as you can see the picture was taken in May 2010 but I have NO idea of my weight at this point.

The next picture was take a few days ago, on a camera phone so the quality isn't the best (i still do not like having my photo taken)

I still have a way to go and the hardest part is probably still probably ahead of me - I haven't really set a firm goal yet but I'm mulling it over.

Hopefully the shame and embarrassment of this post will be worth while if it helps one person.

Lastly - a big thanks to my MFP friends who gave me the inspiration to post this.

    It takes an incredible amount of courage to post before and after pics, and I want to thank you for doing so. Every time I see the pictures of someone who has lost 50, 75, 100+ pounds, it reminds me that it's possible, and I *can* do it. Again, thank you! And you looks great!
