OMG, I really wish I lived closer to Boston. I'd run this in a heartbeat!

"Escape from the running dead.

Protect your brain and run for your life. This is one race where your legs giving out are the least of your problems. Run For Your Lives is a first-of-its-kind event, one part 5K, one part obstacle course, one part escaping the clutches of zombies — and all parts awesome.

Runners will navigate a series of 12 obstacles throughout a 5K course in an attempt to reach the finish line — all while avoiding zombies. At the end of this adventure race, you get to celebrate survival (or zombie transformation) with live entertainment and music, local celebrities, vendors, food, and of course, beer!"

    were already preparing for an event such as zombie day with weapons,
    why not get our bodies prepared too..

    where is it?
    and does it cost money to enter?

    It's near Bel Air, which is ~ 45 minutes north of Baltimore. Registration was $73 with the online processing fee.

    I know! They say they're going to add locations... I'm just crossing my fingers that one of those locations is Seattle... or at least Portland.

    we have a zombie walk here in asheville every year..
    peeps dress up as zombies and walk around downtown..its pretty cool..

    We have a zombie walk where I am too- it's great fun.

    My sister has been trying to get me interested in running but I just haven't gotten into it. But with a race like this as my goal? I could see myself putting in the training time and who knows, maybe I'd discover I do like running after all.

    OMG this sounds brilliant. I would so do this if there was one over here in the UK.
    However I think one of my friends would have a heart attack, she has a zombie phobia.
