this is not about eatting back my exercise cals I eat them back if im hungry but thats nothing to do with this.
Just wondering when is best to eat , when I eat before exercise I end up majorly bloated and after I want to eat more .
So when is best to eat ? I am only really doing 30 mins cross trainier and some yoga on a normal day sometimes more if im feeling up to it.

Usually depending on your exercise intensity 300 to 400 cals at least 1.5 hours before your exercise.

Most trainers recommend a 4:1 ratio of Carb/Protein for after your workout but this is dependent on your goal.

What do you mean too early? It depends, if you eat 4 or 5 hours before you exercise you may not have enough "fuel" to keep you performing at your best.

If you eat too close to the exercise you may stop your digestion and the "fuel" isn't processed yet and may lead to stomach ache and stiching.
