Butt Exercise Help

Okay, went to a BBQ at the beach today and was told, "Wow, you've lost a lot of weight... but where's your butt? It disappeared." Well, although I was happy to hear that my weight loss was noticeable I was pretty sad about the butt remark as I've always had a booty and liked it. What can I do to continue to lose weight but keep my butt and make it plumper! I do squats, lunges and other leg exercises.. and for cardio i use the elliptical and run. Any suggestions?

    Maybe use the glute machine and lifts heavy weight low reps and try and build that muscle bigger.

    The Brazilian Butt Lift seems to be popular.. heck, I would do it!

    Other than that, the excersises you are doing now are perfect only you should prolly add more weight.

    I started out with no butt, and now have more butt than I have ever had. Which I'm completely stoked about. lol But Lunges and squats do a lot for me, Zumba made a huge difference for me, and now that I started playing Tennis its even better.

    SQUATS AND DEADLIFTS!!!! Low reps, heavy weights! Trust me, you won't need those machines.

    Romanian deadlifts! Research the proper form and, if possible, have an experienced person help you. This is easily my favorite lift....

    thanks everyone! think i need to up the weight i use during squats and lunges. i do lots of reps right now because i'm not using very heavy weights. and i will definitely look into the brazilian dvd. thank you!
