Just wondered, I ate a lot of very high fat food last week, a lot more than I would normally eat & I woke up one morning last week feeling really sick & light headed.
I have never felt that before even after drinking a couple of glasses of wine.
Has anyone else every had this.

Yeah.. when i started this journey. I ate SOOO healthy that I went to a bowling alley with some friends one night and ordered a chicken ranch wrap from there.... BAD IDEA. So much grease and fat my body wasn't accustomed to eating. I had to force self to throw up. While I STRONGLY don't recommend it. I was pale and felt like i was dying. Too much will make you sick.0

Thank I guess its a good incentive to eat more healthy & not go way overboard again.0

interesting. i can't say i have ever had a bad reaction to 'bad' food. i guess because i ignore the symptoms because i love food so much
and then again, maybe that is why i was always tired... my poor choice of food on a daily basis.0 -
I think you notice it happening when you've gotten used to eating healthy. I have this all the time when I eat high fat foods. Also I felt awful after an ice cream once, which wasn't that big a deal, but I'd hardly had much else that day and I think the sugar just hit me! Lol.
I used to be able to eat 200g chocolate in one sitting, no way can I do that now. 50g is about my max as I'd just feel sick. I'm glad about that though, it helps with the 'everything in moderation' - no point in eating so much we feel bad. I always wonder if I always used to feel bad and just didn't realise.....?0 -
It's not an immediate reaction, but when I go from eating badly to eating healthy, I do feel so much better, more energetic. Then, when I backslide into bad habits again, I start to drag during the week, even bowel movements are affected. It's pretty amazing how what you eat can impact how you feel!
Same with exercise, those endorphins are wonderful0
