I have a can of reduced fat Pillsbury crescent rolls... Problem is that the can has EIGHT of them inside. :grumble: Can I pop the can open, bake only half, and refrigerate the rest of the dough in a ziploc bag or container or something? :ohwell: Share your thoughts please. I'd hate to waste. (And, I have an idea of what I'd like to do with the leftover crescents for breakfast tomorrow. )

I usually ziplock mine but you can't leave the dough for too long I would use it by the next day or it turns gray.

Could you not cook all of them and then freeze them afterwards.

I would freeze the dough, but that's just a thought, haven't actually tried it. (I'm just thinking how I would usually store dough, if it didn't come in a can)

It is better to cook them all and then freeze some as dorisholaway stated.

I'd bake them up and head over to the neighbor's house, or take them to my work breakroom. But really, I would probably eat all eight of them to fix that problem :)

This is probably your best bet. If you freeze it raw it'll get water logged and may not cook up the same. Cooked bread freezes wonderfully. Plus then you can just thaw them out and microwave them it you want.
