Patience is the thing I find so hard!! I started to exercise and watch what I eat. I have lost a pound last week which I am happy about as I haven't been that good. I have lost about 12lbs at the end of last year put gained it back due to not exercising and eating badly. Now I feel I am back on track but I am so impatient! I want to be slimmer now and I feel unhappy when getting dressed as I feel unhappy with myself. I know I am doing the right thing right now but how are you dealing with being impatient?

I find it so hard to wait weeks and weeks until I am at a stage where I can like myself again.

Any advise or tips would be welcome!

Patience is tough... I am an instant gratification type of person. BUT ... that said, I needed to lose 35 lbs and tone and firm and I wanted it bad enough to put up with the anticipation and waiting to see results. You can do this, just keep puching and when it starts to take off for you you will be so happy you kept pushing. Good luck!

It took you weeks and weeks... even months and months to put the weight on. Why does it come as a surprise that it is taking that long to remove it?

This is the lesson I had to learn myself as well. Of course I wanted the weight off 5 minute ago. But, unlike pizza delivery or the Applebees menu, our bodies don't guarantee delivery in under 15 minutes.

Of course I am aware that it will take me time! And it is good this way as I want to be able to maintain my weight once I am there....

TOM is due and I just feel even bigger that's why I am just impatient at the moment I think :grumble:
