MAcronutrients are referring to things like carbs, fat, protein. (include Carbon, Oxygen, Hydrogen, and Nitrogen)
MIcronutrients are referring to vitamins and minerals. (chlorine, iron, maganese, zinc, boron, sodium, copper, molybdenum and nickel.)

You need larger amounts of Macros, hence the name, and smaller of micros..

They are nutrients we need in small amounts like iron, iodine, zinc, selenium and vitamins. Macronutrients we need in large quantities such as proteins, carbohydrates and fats.

Hey, not an expert by any means.

Micronutrients are vitamins and trace minerals. Vitamins and trace minerals are labeled as micronutrients because the body only requires them in very small amounts. Vitamins are organic substances that we ingest with our foods, and that act as catalysts, substances that help to trigger other reactions in the body

Macronutrients are the proteins, carbs, etc.
