i need to get some cardio in weekly but i cannot bring myself to go running or hit the gym! :/

i was thinking of trying zumba, or hip hop abs or something like that. so then maybe it can seem like i'm not working out even though i'll be burning cals! lol :)

any suggestions on good videos or classes i should take?

    I do hip hop cardio, and I do it just because I like it!!! Otherwise I wouldn't burn crap LOL
    def try zumba!
  • I'm a guy so our interests may be different. However, I like shooting hoops, swimming, and playing Wii sports/fitness. Particularly the boxing, it actually is a good workout. Also, let it not be said that just WALKING is a good calorie burner! Next time you walk to the corner store or a friends, take a walk! Feels great and isn't too difficult on you when you're "just not feeling it."

    Zumba is some serious fun! I loved going to my classes because they turned off the lights and it was like a dance party. I bought the kinect game and again, it's just a fun time! It's great to do it in my own home without worrying what I look like, but it's also super fun to be in a group of people doing it too.

    Give it a try!

    Zumba is great. It gives a nice workout and you can learn new semi-dance moves.

    Try a Martial Arts class: Judo, Karate, Kung Fu, Capoeira, etc, etc.
    I tried going to a weights gym a few times but it never stuck.
    I Have been going to a Capoeira class for a couple of years and Jeet Kune Do class for about 18 months. Both offer a great combined workout (Cardio & muscular).
    I started really watching my food about 6 - 8 weeks ago and I have been seeing some real success with my weight and strength.
    This combo may not work for everyone but it is working for me.
    Good Luck

    Walking is great. I also really enjoy pilates and yoga. Both are really relaxing and I don't feel like I'm working out. You could also try a dance dvd. Bollywood Burn is really fun!

    I like going for walks. Also, getting on an elliptical machine at the gym and listening to an audiobook that's really interesting while I'm doing it, to keep my mind occupied.

    I haven't tried Zumba but I keep hearing about how great it is from friends.

    Anything that you find fun that gets your body moving. Try a team sport with friends. I hate the gym and will only burn like 200 calories there and just want to leave the whole time. I play roller derby with my friends and I could do it for hours and burn at least 1000 calories just screwing around. It's the best when you have a competitive fire in you.

    Walking is great! I am also a huge fan of Brazilian But Lift, though I've never done it. But I am still a fan!
