A Gain is not what I wanted to see! Going to work extra hard this week to lose it!
As for the challege, if anyone is like me & is not a cook, baker or chef & want to try something different in the frozen section I really like:
Roasted Vegetables by Irresistibles Life Smart half the bag is only like 175 calories, if you make a chicken breast with it it makes the perfect meal. At least I think it does
A week from today I will be in VEGAS!!!0 -
Weighing in at 162.4. Not where I should have been but not too far off track. Got my workout in this morning and feeling really inspired by everyone on MFP Thank you everyone!0

I can honestly say I have gotten so many wonderful ideas and recipes from my MFP folks that it's hard to pick just one!! But I do have to say that I am loving ricotta cheese, drizzled with 1/2 tsp honey & sliced strawberries for breakfast. Yummmmy!! I have bought ricotta cheese before but never knew what to do with it, I thoought it was just for lasagna. D'oh!

This Week's Reflection: Whatcha thinking?
I am so thrilled to have made the connection with MFP and finally to be experiencing weight loss success that I KNOW will be ongoing!! I have been the Queen of diets over the years, and have met with varying amounts of success over the years, but always gained it back until here I was 75 lbs overweight, which I have been carrying for a few years. While some days are better than others, and that is just life isn't it lol,I am enjoying my experience now. Even when I have had a crappy day or week weight loss wise, I know I will feel re-energized when I log on and check in with my MFP friends and read other posts. Other people's experiences and ideas and support are amazing, and I am always encouraged myself when I feel that I might encourage someone else :flowerforyou:
So, this was my birthday week as well as my grandson's birthday, and weigh-in is tomorrow morning. Even if I don't have a loss to post, I am feeling good, I know that I haven't gone beserk with over-indugling so life is good
Sorry for the long post, this was the first chance I've all week to catch up!0 -

okay after many months of trial and error I think I found my current calorie needs for maintance. now i just need to eat a few hundred less than that to start the weight loss again. i knew it would come to this eventually I am NOT a cook. Right now my favorite side, or main dish in a much larger portion, is just a simple salad of 4 ingredients: baby spinach, watermelon, goat cheese, and onion. watermelon and goat cheese are great together and the watermelon is so juicy no dressing necessary.0 -
215 for me this week. I'm in the 16 - 20 lb group. Thanks!0

changing my weight. i hadn't weighed in during the morning before eating until today so my weight is 137.6. that's a pound down.0

147.8...So, I'm thinking all the sodium I ate this week caught up with me in a major way...with a major gain
I'll try to cut back on salt this week & get myself back on the losing track!0 -
I have a small gain this week and I'm perfectly okay with that. Harry Potter has been a huge part of my life for the last 14 years and this weekend was the beginning of the end. So after waiting in line for 15 hours for the midnight release, not sleeping for 3 days, feeling like walking death and so not caring what I ate, I gained 0.2lbs (although it's more like 3lbs because I checked on Thursday).
