BAI vs. BMI

I've always felt that the BMI scale is inaccurate, and many doctors and fitness experts agree. I was so interested when I came across a blurb in a fitness magazine about this new BAI which uses a mathematical equation using your hip to heighth ratio to measure your body fat. Studies are still being conducted to ensure it's accuracy, but I coulden't resist the old google search.

This is a little info about it and a link to a calculator where you can compare your BMI to your BAI.

Very interesting!!! Thanks. I am barely in normal on BMI (24.8) and almost on the underweight side on BAI (22.33). Thanks again!

Apparently this BAI has me only overweight just on the verge of healthy..and with my BMI i'm still obese..so thats a big difference
