    another great zumba workout tonight.

i weighed everyday just to see what my body does with different foods or exercise. now that i have a new rug in the bathroom i have to move it to put the scale on the floor. so don't do it but, every other day or so. until it's time to change rugs out and wash this one.

    evening sixers.
just ate a huge salad. and i am full. crazy rain / thunder storms right now so i am going to have to switch up the exercise... JM on demand I think.

couldn't find anything to wear when i went shopping. i felt huge in everything... all the more motivating... going to take my frustration and anger out on the elliptical later when the BF gets home and can help me move it... (it got moved as we were worried about the basement flooding in these freaky rain storms we keep getting..)

    have a great night ladies!!!!.

    Morning Sixers.

Chipper. that is great you get some alone time with the DH.

Well, I stayed on track again yesturday. Didn't end up exercising, but I got some cleaning done, and I waled aorund a ton while shopping... so I guess that counts for something (I didn't count it though).

By the wedding I really want to be back in the 150's. I think it is possible if every day is a good day - it is going to be hard. Plus, I need to step up the exercise.

Today is going to be the first of the difficult days... going out to eat for lunch for a meeting, then I have a beer date with some freinds... So I need to get in some exercise before the beer date! :flowerforyou:

Good morning ladies. I finally got to weighing. Lost a pounds. too bad its not a pound towards meeting goal but at least its 1 pound down that I gained. I really believe I am fighting water right now. When its hot, no matter how much water I suck down...I gain. When we have a rainy day like we did yesterday....I am down. Our bodies sure do fight us big time on this weight loss thing.

Good news is that I have my first personal training session this saturday and then I have to decide how much I want to purchase. I think it will be 8 sessions, maybe 12 . I need someone to get me into a good routine.

Hope your all having a wonderful morning!

    afternoon ladies.
went to lunch, had a buffalo chicken sandwich (not a good choice), but instead of fries I had fruit... (good choice). I am getting better at this!

heading home now, going to grab some beer, take the pups out for a quick walk and try to sqeeze in a workout on demand before my friends arrive.

I think I am going to make a baked sweet potato and salad for dinner.

    Have a great night.

    morning....

running some errands this morning. scale is going up. i agree with someone who said the heat can cause weight gain from water. the more i think about that the better it sounds. will have to look that up. i drink at least 72oz of water a day. i feel bloated.

hey wheres are you kisten? hope you are feeling ok.

shower and than head out the door. expensive day, need to get boomer his food and insulin. there goes $60. got a coupon for his food other wise it would be at least $75. boy gotta love your animals.....

I edited my GW. I no longer want to lose weight because I am PREGNANT! Yay!!

My hubby and I were planning to start "trying" in August/September-ish, after Drew turns 2, but things happened faster than we expected. So anyway, I am 12 weeks pregnant. I have known since my birthday back in May, but I was being secretive on here. I figured you would all get suspicious if I didn't have a Goal Weight - haha. But now that the word is out, I am obviously not trying to lose. I would like to not GAIN as much, but this happened with my first pregnancy too. Something about restricting calories for so long, and finally getting the green light to eat, I pack it on so fast. With my first, it pittered out a bit after a while, so right now I'm just concentrating on getting enough healthy food and keeping up on my exercise. But the cravings take over and I find myself with pizza and Taco Bell. Yay!

So anyway, I've seen Kristin say many times that she stuck this out with her first pregnancy, so I'm really hoping this group will help me keep motivation in mind. Thanks for letting me share my news! :flowerforyou:

YAY!!! SUPER exciting!!! And yes...I did try and stick with this and did post througout my pregnancy, but I also gained WAY more than I wanted. But it all came back off when I started following on here again afterwards, so I'm sure you will be fine!! CONGRATULATIONS!!!!

Morning Ladies. Today / this weekend is going to be wicked busy. I just hope to get through it without too much damage!

I am thinking about getting a JM video (or something) to get me doing more strenght-type training... any suggestions?

    Have a great day!!!

Julie congrats on the pregnancy. You can keep it healthy! We are here to support you.

Great job to everyone who lost. To everyone who maintained or went up a tad, we will remain strong!!! Thanks for keeping the support going to all.

Quick update on me: Still on vacation. I have overeaten - fruit, vegetables, hummus. But have supplemented it with 3 to 6 miles of running every day and lots of wave catching. Don't expect to lose, but don't expect to gain either. I hope, I hope, I hope. Either way, we are having a blast. Back to reality in 3 days and counting...

If you have time for an hour workout, JM's No More Trouble Zones is an EXCELLENT strength workout. Otherwise I would suggest the Ripped in 30...but it's Strength/Cardio/Abs.

Hey Cathy...I am here!! Just been busy. Haven't exercised as much as I'd like this week and it's supposed to be SUPER hot this next whole week, so will probably be doing a little less exercise (running) and just focusing on what I eat (or trying to!)

Picked up a power wheel dirt cheap that my husband is going to re-do for Kadence and we also found a cute playhouse for her that my mom pitched in for to give her for her birthday! YAY!! She's going to LOVE it!

Busy day...Hope everyone has a good weekend!!

So I just cleaned out my drawers and closet and got rid of all of the clothes I keep telling myself I will wear again when I lose weight. I'm not sure how I'm feeling about it. I think I was keeping them, hoping they would be motivation, but after 3 years or more I don't think that is going to work. It's crazy the amount of clothes that I have to donate. Maybe I should make buying new (smaller) clothes a reward when I lose more weight?

Home from vacation. Back to reality. In 32 days, we go to the beach again with friends. Hubby and I have committed to losing 10 lb and/or toning up and losing flab in those 32 days. He bought a men's fitness magazine and has a plan. I have done my own research. So my official weigh in with measurements :ohwell: will be Wednesday to let me know what I have to strive for. I CAN DO THIS FOR 32 DAYS ---especially with you lovely ladies in the background. Glad to be back...

    Morning Ladies.
I had a great weekend with my girls! I actually did OK the day / night of the bachlorette party - I drank a lot but I ate well balanced meals and danced for about 3 hours + (my legs are still sore) Plus the bride-to-be had a blast, so all my hard work planning really paid off! :flowerforyou: Yesturday, on the other hand, was terrible - I didn't feel great so I was eating everything in sight to try and calm my grumbling stomach... ugh. that's what I get from mixing rum, champagne, and wine  :noway:

Today I am back on track and hoping for a loss on the scale... although I fear I may be carrying some water weight - for this next challenge I am also going to track measurments.... my dress for the wedding is a bit small, so I need to loss this weight...

    Personals later.

    Have a great day ladies!!!

hey guys, its me. my computer just went crazy, and apparently i (or more likely my crazy computer) deleted my account :noway: so i had to modify my name slightly as it wouldn't let me use the old one...

Anyways.... it has been a crazy morning. workingon backing up my files and trying to fix my email account... something must be up with the network...

chipper. you have done amazing the past couple challenges, and this one is no different! drink a bunch of water and get in a nice workout this afternoon and I am sure the scale will show a loss!!!

kristin. i consider "swimming" in baby pools a type of exercise!

i have 33 days to go before the wedding; I hope to drop 10-15 lbs before then (which i think is possible b/c the first 5 will probably be water weight...) and I would love to be a bit more toned. It is a lot to ask in such a short amount of time, but I have be up and down around 170 for months and months now... it is time to get back into the 150s, and to NEVER return to the 170s and 160s... I really want this.

    Todays Plan.
    B. Almonds and Fruit
    S. Coffee and more almonds.... (i <3 almonds)
L: Cranberry, walnut, feta and chicken on mixed greens w/ low fat rasberry dressing
    S: banana
    D. mashed sweet potato, mixed green salad

We are going to get some crazy storms this afternoon through the night, so I am going to jump on the elliptical and do a JM video on demand... snack will depend on how many calories I burn - good start to the "re-start" (I am taking advantage of my computer crash...cleaning out and moving forward!!!)

so lucky to have a great supportive group behind me!!!

Em, you can lose the weight in 33 days! Just stay motivated and accountable. I really need to do the exact same thing. I have 1 wedding in 40 days and the big one is in 61 days!

Chipper, although I have only been around for 1 6-week session, you do fabulous. Losing/maintaining is awesome. I really need to get some advice from you so that I can kinda kick start my weight loss journey and be able to maintain it afterwards. :)

I'm hoping that things all around get better for me. My paper was finally resubmitted (it has kept me chained to my desk for the past 5 weeks or so). That means I will be a lot more active at work, and the stress that interacting with my boss causes me will finally be done (and she is in Africa on vacation for 3 weeks!). I'm feeling more motivated to actually try and workout in the evenings. Hopefully all of your support will help me keep the motivation! :)
