Hello, I'm a newbie too. I'm struggling to lose the last 10 pounds off my body which I hope will make the difference with my high blood pressure. I'm on a very low dose of medication, but I'd like to be able to eliminate the medication totally and live a very healthy and long life.
It's been a very slow journey. Almost discouraging. I've increased the intensity of my exercise recently but it just seems to make me hungrier and more tired. It seems like I've broken through the plateau though and am slowly, very slowly losing some weight.
I hope I can get some tips on how to lose those dreaded last few pounds, eat healthy and take better care of myself. Especially when it comes to energy, I'd like to be able to keep up with my 10 year old son.

Hello from Ladner!!
This is a great site and is extremely helpful. Since you only have about 10 lbs to lose the best way (from what I've read here) is to do it slowly. No faster than 0.5 to 1 lbs per week. The last bit of weight is the hardest to get rid of.0
