For each pound you lose, put away $5-10 in savings. Then when you reach your ultimate goal, use the money you put away to indulge on yourself!
Just think, each 10 pounds you lose is another $50-100 in your pocket!

I treat myself every 5 lbs, to keep myself on track. I got treated early to my next goal, so next pound lost, I get to go have a wonderful light salad at the local art institute's cafe.
The mini goals really keep me going!0 -

That is a GREAT idea!
I kind of did that when I quit smoking in 2004.
For every pack I didn't smoke I put that money in a savings account and watched the savings grow and grow! Great motivator!
Best thing I ever did.
