I have been trying to find a good receipe, that actually works, for making zucchini and squash chips. Anyone have one they have used with a good out come.

The one I have been working with, and yet to get right is

Slice veg thin
season with sea salt
bake at 275 for 1 to 1 1/2 hrs

should be easy, but they either burn or are still soggy!!

I would also like to try sweet potato chips or onion chips.

THANKS

I usually put them in a dehydrator until crispy. I wish I had a mandolin to slice them extremely thin, sometimes they will be slightly soggy, but that just means they need more time.

Anyway, this is a good alternative to baking.

Sometimes I put a lower temp for a while, then increase temp to crisp em up!
    Use parchment paper!!
I use garlic, seasoning salt, S & P, anything I can find in the spice cabinet :)

Sorry not much help to your problem lol

You should be at a higher heat as well. Try 450.
