Two of my closest friends got ENGAGED tonight!!!!

They've been absolutely fab friends to me and another friend, over the last year and I could not be happier for them!

This friend and I have decided we're going to treat them to a lovely meal out somewhere to celebrate, because they've done similar for us on special occasions.

They're also the first friends I've had who have got engaged.

I'm seriously one happy girl tonight

Just wanted to share (I knew it was coming for a while, we all went out for the day, and while Y and our friend H were getting their nails done, R asked me if we could go and look at rings, as he wanted a female opinion, and he mentioned he'd probably do it tonight - Y's birthday!)

I've got a question for you all though.

H and I have an idea, for a present when they get married. R is a keen photographer, as am I. The 4 of us are at some point going to do a mini shoot, so that we get some practice of portrait work. If the photos I take of the couple are OK, H and I were going to give them an album full of the photos as a wedding present. Good idea/bad idea/indifferent idea?

I think the photography idea is a great one - I happen to be a huge picture freak so I would LOVE something like that.

They've actually been living together just under a year, so they don't need homeware type stuff, and as photography lovers, I hope they like the idea. Just need to arrange the shoot now
