Started with Myfitnesspal about a week ago and really like the concept. I've always believed that keeping my weight in check was only a matter of keeping calories in and calories burned in balance. Even though I only need to lose about 5-10 pounds I think most people would agree they are the hardess pounds to lose. I'm excited about changing the way I eat by being aware of what I'm eating. Thanks for the great website.

Welcome! You'll love this! and although you have a small goal, I think MFP is much more then that, it makes you aware of what you eat, and how much of it. Once I reach my goal, I'll keep using MFP to help me maintain, because the whole calorie intake, and the 6 different meals/snacks a day really will help on having a healthy lifestyle! Have fun, and good luck on your journey

I only had a few pounds to lose when I started. I have only lost 6 lbs, but I know I am eating better and more aware of the input vs. output. Keeping track and really knowing what you are eating and how much exercise you are getting is the only way to establish the healthy lifestyle necessary to lose those few pounds!! Good Luck:bigsmile:
  • Hey, feel free to add me as I think we have that one thing in common.. we only want to lose a few! and yes they are terribly hard to get rid of -.- I'm a runner and pretty athletic, but untill now ive pretty much eaten when I've wanted and what ive wanted. A bit of discipline would do me good :) So if youd like a friend with the same sorta goals, add me! :)
