My name is Dave, I'm 25 years old and am a Michigan State University graduate running my own web design business. I have 2 dogs, Buster and Riley, I just bought my first house and am a recovering alcoholic, 3 months sober now. I have always been a bit overweight (right now 5'8 and just over 200lbs) and am finally serious about dropping some weight, and getting in shape and incorporating clean eating and a healthy lifestyle into my recovery program.

Hi Dave,
Congrats on the successful 3 months of sobriety. It is hard work! A healthy lifestyle is also hard work but it will get easier each day. Look at each day as a new beginning. Take baby steps, then bigger steps. It takes 21 days to change habits. Look at food as a fuel for your mind and body instead of something to satisfy your emotional needs. It will take time.0
