Need to get motivated

Hi my name is Shannon and I'm here to lose weight. I have a beautiful 9 month old son named Jaishaun and I want to lose weight to be able to do things with him and not get tired and also for my own well being. I had a rough labor 36 hours and ended up needing a c-section. Safe to say i was bed ridden for over a week after I go home and it didn't get any easier. I ended up with an infection in my incision and had a nurse coming to my house everyday for a month. It was hard to care for my new born cause I was in so much pain. Normally, women bounce back from pregnency pretty well. I haven't lost any of my baby weight and i gained over 60 pounds during my pregmency. I also had an accident and fell down a flight of stairs and have back and hip pain. I'm starting to feel better from all that my body has been through but I get winded walking up the street and I want to be able to go to the park with my son and play with him instead of telling him mommy can't cause she can't breath. It is hard to get started and I don't know what I shoukd do first. I hope this site will give me help as to how much i eat and how to lose the weight properly. My friend recommended it to me so here I am trying to get motivated.

I'm glad you joined this site, and I'm happy to help support you in your journey. I have two little ones, a 2 year old boy and a 1 year old girl. They are 13 months apart. Bascially I spent a few years pregnant, and with my son, I spent 5 months on bed rest. It's a lot of work to get that baby weight off, especially after your c-section recovery, and I know you can do it!0
