Hi this is only my second day and I already seem to be in the red with my Protein amounts. If I stick to my daily calorie amounts but eat too much Protein will I still lose weight.? I'm abit confused and would love any advice. Thanks

yes, protein is good for you, I always go over in protein. It helps repair your muscles from workouts.

Do some forum searches for protein and you'll find that a lot of people consider that the protein is set too low on mfp, especially if you are strength training. I always aim to go over my protein where I can.

Yep, protein is set way too low. It also doesn't take into account YOU. And what you are wanting to do.

I always go into the red, but I'm on a higher protein diet to shred fat, so I try for 150g a day...which is like double what they want me to have LOL.
