Yeah yeah, this is my high horse right now, but this article is the culmination of a lot of research, and I wanted to share it.

I read the link...and I don't think that there is anything ground breaking there.

A banana is better than a potato chip....well...yeah. LOL.

It's no secret that Americans devour more sodium than any other country in the world thinks to all the fast food and other ways of eating out.

Check out this article, very informative....

Getting enough potassium has long been a quest of mine, as I suffer with terrible muscle cramps, a symptom of potassium deficiency.

I'm sure that you were able to understand that it is the ratio, not the total intake that is important. If you try to intake 3000 mg of K+ everyday, you will find yourself having a hard time not eating the same thing all the time. What you effectively did is called anyone who doesn't know about the potassium issue a moron. Thanks though.

    Umm.....no...I didn't.

If you took it that way, I apologize that it came across like that.

But yeah, I've seen this before....and on MFP. And the fact that at the end of the article they said, reach for a banana instead of a potato chip...yeah...it's a no brainer if you are trying to be healthy.

I'll be sure to keep in mind what you have seen before I share anything else.

I have recently begun shooting for a 2:3 sodium to potassium ratio. Already I have noticed some improvements: the problem areas of my skin are clearing up, and I wake up more easily.

Rude! There are a lot of people that don't know about this. Even if it people have posted on this before, not everyone got the chance to read that before! There are god knows how many people of MFP there are bound to be redundancies.
