    Roanoke VA. 98 degrees with heat index of 105. WHEW!


    1. I love Roanoke, my best friend/college roommate is from Roanoke, I absolutely fell in love with the city.

    2. NoVa, its hot and humid. Hopefully it will cool down for my run tonight!

    It's been hot here for a while. It was 110 on Saturday (w/out heat index).

    We average ten 100+ days/year, normally most are in late July and August. We've had over 20 already this summer and they forecast for 100+ everyday for the next week plus.

    It's 1030am here and its 90 outside. I'm sick of this heat!

    Cnance -- are you in Oklahoma by anychance? The 100+ days stats fits ...

    I'm in Oklahoma! :) I know you directed your question to someone else. It's so ridiculous here! The Mesonet is going to melt...

    We're having cooler than average temps here in southern AZ. Only 97°F today and about 100° for the rest of the week but up to 105° for the weekend. Morning temps don't get below 75°, so it's always warm.

    It's been pretty hot here in ABQ NM...reaching the upper 90s but I'm from northern CA so I'm used to 115 degree summers...one MAJOR difference that makes NM unbearable is the lack of trees and water!

    unseasonably cool this week. Had to put on the fleece and a windbreaker on the drive in this morning (in a topless Jeep). last week I was in a polo shirt and sweating at 7 am. But I am sure it will get to triple digits soon.

    Cool, highs around 65f and it's been raining. Wind has been blowing for days, Welcome to the Oregon Coast.

    Funny when we moved here people were all saying well you haven't spent a winter here yet. It rains and it's cold, and for a week or two it's cold enought to snow, freeze pipes and be just miserable. It's not the winter that bothers me it's the lack of summer no real heat. So far we have had two hot days maybe it was 85, and a handfull of warm days.

    I am very jealous of everyone that have lovely weather at the moment.

    I am on the south coast of the UK and it is cold and overcast.

    It should be warm and sunny. I WANT SOME SUNSHINE!!!!!!!

    Colder than normal... LONG chilly spring followed by chilly summer interspersed with the occassional 70 deg. day.

    edit to add... should say where: Western Washington (top of the Olympic Peninsula).

    It was 80 when I stepped out to run at 5am.

    We're in the middle stretch of our second heat wave of the summer. On Sunday the nearest reporting weather station was the hottest in the country at 112.

    But you know what? I run outside when it's in the 20's. And there is a nice water park at the Y. I'll take this over the cold any day.
