Howdy all fitnesspal folks.

I tried out a recipe for crumpets recently and found out how much I like them (so I'm making many). Now, it uses 3 cups of all purpose flour (110 cals per cup), 2 tablespoons of sugar (so roughly 97 calories total), and then non-caloric stuff (yeast, salt, and water). The recipe makes 14 crumpets and to me that would be roughly 30.5 calories per crumpet:

((110 * 3) + 97) / 14 = 30.5

For some reason to me it just seems too few calories but maybe I'm wrong.

Yeah so it's 110 per 1/4 cup of flour, not per cup (silly me and my memory was off). Anyway now it's

((110 * 12) + 97) / 14 = 101.2 calories per piece. D'oh! It's ok though they're STILL delicious.
