Can you guys give me some tips on finding a relatively inexpensive, yet accurate HRM? I've heard there are some that double as watches? Any info would be so helpful

This is a great one.
OP: You wont find a cheaper good HRM than the Polar FT4. Make sure you get one with a chest strap.0 -
I got mine from Target, it's a New Balance and it costs less than $80. It has watch and chest strap. I can only assume it's accurate, since I don't have any other experience to compare it to, but I am pretty certain it is accurate. It is easy to use and it does have a watch function, as well.0

I have a FT4 also. I recently purchased it at ****'s SPORTING goods. I paid about 80 bucks for it, that included a warranty. I love it. The transmitter and chest strap fit comfortably and it's very accurate. I read up on HRM's and this one is simple to use and does exactly what I want.0
