I recently joined MFP. I'm a mom with three kids, fairly white and nerdy, and looking for a support system. I want to lose about 25 pounds and then stay on for maintenance for life, while slowly introducing new foods. I'm taking advantage of summer in California and eating crazy amounts of fruits and vegetables, eschewing grains and dairy - because this is what my body currently craves, not because I have to. Anyt takers?
