I'm sitting here eating my afternoon snack of a Weight Watcher cheese stick. I realize that I took about 3 strings and the rest has been sitting here in front of me for about 5 minutes. What am I doing!? I'm obviously not hungry if it is sitting RIGHT in front of me and I'm not eating it. Hello "eating out of boredom!"

Into the trash it went when I realized that I thought I was hungry when I was starting to feel bored at work, but then I logged into MFP, got involved with posts, and stopped eating. Just another reason MFP is so awesome! :smile:

    Good for you. I had an ah-ha moment today as well.

    It looks like you learned a very good lesson. When ever I feel like I am becoming hungry, I drink a glass of water and move around. If in 15 minutes I am still hungry, I drink another glass of water and eat a snack. The water keeps me from eating as much.
