Fuel The Jet. .Fuel The Jet!
When working out harder than normal is it better to fuel your body with carbs or protein?
I'm also trying to find some food/meals packed with protein and healthy carbs. Any help?
And lastly I like to work out in the morning, is it best to eat before or after? ( I feel like I should know all this by now, sorry if this has been asked before.)

my understanding is carbs are fuel and protein is fuel for muscle or to get lean muscle instead of fat......but i think the protein breaks down the carbs so it doesnt turn into fat......im gonna keep watching post to see what responses you get0

Workout first thing in the morning if possible then eat a protein based meal. Don't forget to re-hydrate as well!
I can't do first thing in the am so I do an evening before dinner and 5 hours after lunch which is pretty close to the same as first thing in the morning!
