And I could use some ideas for food. Since we are taking our honeymoon now while my kids are with their dad for the summer. The wedding is in November. So I am not really going off my diet. We are packing an ice chest to take to the beach and most of our meals. I could use some ideas of what to pack and eat?

Fruit and veggies. Tuna sandwiches always taste better at the beach, and I don't know why. Maybe the fish feels closer to it's homeland?

We went camping for 4 days a few weeks ago and this is what we took:

    ground turkey
chicken breats - I premarinated them so they would be ready
    colby cheese sticks
    shredded mozz cheese
    head of lettuce
    salad dressing
crunchy tortilla strips for in salad
    hommus/crackers
    case of bottled water
    apples
    grapes
turkey bacon (i pre-cooked it so all we had to do was eat it)
    hard boiled eggs
    wheat bread

We would grill chicken for dinner one night and have leftover chicken for a salad for lunch the next day. I also pre-patted out my burgers and seal-a-meal'ed them.

I know there was more, but that's all I can think of this minute.

    HTH!!!

Lets see 7 hour drive starting early morning tomorrow, get to the beach around noon. So we need stuff to eat on the drive. Check in at 3 so lunch at the beach. We will be there Weds night and Thurs night, Spend friday at the beach then drive 2 hours to my parents so probably dont need to pack much for that part of the trip. Maybe just have enough snacks left over for our room in the motel (since we are not married yet we cant stay at my parents) Then there is the 7 hour drive home Sat night/sunday morning

Thats really awesome you have respect for your parents and your Pops dont put up with that stuff. I used to nail a few chicks in their parents house (while their parents were there) in my late teens and early twenties and I always felt weird about it.

Also if its an ocean I dont really think they have bbqs but most lakes do. Dont ask me why.

Personally, I wouldn't diet on my honeymoon. I'd take the calorie hit and eat what I wanted. All it would do is prolong my weight loss journey by a week or too anyway. Enjoy it!

Thank you all for your ideas, I even made up the tuna salad and ate it with crackers for a quick dinner when we were really tired. I didnt diet on the honeymoon though. But I tried to be reasonable with what I ate to not undo any progress. Honey was really shocked tonight when I mentioned that all the yogurts and deserts I packed were low calorie, sugar free or low fat and non fat. LOL shows how most men are he didn't even notice :) We did eat the really yummy complimentary hot breakfast the hotel provided with the BEST cin rolls and bisq and gravy. And we ate out at the splash caffe at pismo beach with their famous clam chowder in a bread bowl. Been eating that since I was a kid, you all need to try it if you ever make it to pismo beach. Money was an issue, that's why we packed everything. And ate in our room or on the beach. But we had a blast! Here is what I packed thanks to all your great ideas, Tuna salad that I made at home before we left. Club crackers to eat it with (honey doesn't like tuna salad it was for me) Hummus with celery and baby carrots (love it) Turkey lunch meat and provolone cheese, baby spinach and fresh tomato for the sandwiches, Baked potato chips, yoplait non fat boston creme pie yogurts, and jello sugar free dulce de leche snacks, buttermilk ranch flavored pretzil pieces, (cant remember the brand) low fat moz string cheese, coke zero, dr pepper and modelo in the can. All we could eat necterines, plums and apples, as well and the fresh super ripe and yummy strawberries and blackberries we bought at the farmers market there. And I indulged in my favorite Starbucks coconut mocha frapichino :) instead of my usual venti iced soy sugar free latte lol
