I saw this video on CNN.com's site, and thought I'd see if anyone here knows more about it. Can you share any links to articles about this new requirement?

I'm very excited to see what's in all those dishes at my favorite chains... the really big ones have it, but there some mid-tier restaurants that don't list it on their website yet.

    i think its good for people who want to lose weight but at the same time i think this will have a very negative effect on people with eating disorders.

    they may have to write it on the menu, doesn't mean it's true...there is no legislation demanding that the labels on food has to be correct, they just have to have labels...

    "The law will force chain restaurants to disclose the amount of calories, fat and sodium in diners' favorite dishes."

    Regarding timing:

    "A statutory 60-day period for comments began April 1. The Food and Drug Administration expects to publish requirements by the end of this year. The law would take effect six to nine months after the requirements are published."
