Does anyone know a good trail mix combination that isn't a killer on your calories??

    I use multi grain cheerios, roasted pumpkin seeds or sunflower seeds, raisins, mini pretzels & the occassional m&m...just for good measure. :wink: My kids love it, too!

    m&m's mini pack with 100 cal popcorn.. you get the sweet and salty.. yum:bigsmile:

  • Yeah uh. Chocolate is probably not the best way to go. But uh.....
    Why dont you try some Kashi Cereal? Or Natures Path Organic Cereal. It sounds liek you would be eating bark, but i promise you that it is delicious.


    You might even have to change your religion :)

    I'll be making some of my own mix next week, but don't know what to put in it either! So here is what I have come up with as far as ideas! Hope it helps! I don't intend on using the entire list! LoL

    Keep in mind, yoou aren't going to eat the entire mix in one setting! Hopefully! a few weeks ago I would have though! LoL

    Slivered Almonds ( unsalted ) 1/4 c ...................................170 cal
    Dark Chocolate chips 1tbls....................................................70 cal
    m&m's 100 cal pack.............................................................. 100 cal
    Pretzel sticks (85, depending on brand)..............................190 cal
    Chex Cereal
    Corn 1c.......................................................................................120 cal
    Wheat 3/4c..................................................................................160 cal
    Rice 1c.........................................................................................100 cal
    Honey Nut 3/4c............................................................................120 cal
    Gummi bears (18).....................................................................110 cal
    Raisins 1/4 c...............................................................................130 cal
    Dried Cherries 1/4c....................................................................140 cal
    Dried Apples 1/4c........................................................................140 cal
    Sunflower Seeds 3/4c.................................................................160 cal
