Need some advice!

So I completed my food and excercise diary and I get this message saying that I have had to few calories today and I need to get at least 1200 or my body is going to go into starvation mode. Well I am really not hungry, I just finished supper and normally dont eat after 7:00 pm....Should I go and find somthing else to eat to met that 1200 calories a day???

    Contact your doctor. Some people need more calories than others. However, you could be in a state of low metabolism, which is why you aren't feeling hungry.

    I've gotten that too and I ignore it. I don't eat unless I am hungry.

    Yep I agree- I eat when im hungry... granted I watch what I eat and log it but since ive been on here ive only met my goal once. And believe me- its not from lack of trying.

    If you are still nursing you may want to check with your doctor. If you are not nursing going under the suggested 1200 per day once in a while is not a big deal. If you are going under the suggested 1200 per day often, it could become a problem. It is difficult to get the recomended nutrition with less than that amount.

    I agree with MzBug. I am currently studying nutrition/dietetics and a big issue is not getting the RDA of vitamins and minerals. Your body's metabolism starts slowing down and you will likely gain weight. I try to explain this to my husband who eats once a day and exercises like a maniac yet can't lose weight. I also have a hard time meeting my caloric needs, so I'll grab fruit, veggies, nuts throughout the day to help me out.
