Goals other than losing weight

So, I weigh 145-ish and am completely fine with it. I have a muscular build and look/am healthy. I'm having trouble choosing a fitness goal :ohwell:

I would like to lose a few inches here and there, but am, again, not too worried about it...I figure it'll happen when it happens if I continue eating healthy and keeping active.

I'm ding Warrior Dash in MI at the end of July, so I'm focusing on running 3 miles comfortably, but after that? I have no idea!

What are some of your goals that AREN'T weight-related?

Break 2 hours in a half marathon.

Teach my 4-year old to ride a bike so she can come running with me.

Become a better open water swimmer.

    Learn to mountain bike.

    Get comfy on blue runs.

    Learn to cross-country ski.

Live comfortably and healthfully every day.

Break a 7:30 mile and keep my heart rate around 140.

That's a good starting list, I think! Fun post!

maybe push up, sit ups or planks? some strength goals like that might be helpful?

I want to be able to do push ups. I want to build the endurance to run for an extended period of time. Not jog, but actually RUN.
One arm push ups are cool too... but I need to be able to do regular ones first. Doing a human flag looks cool too. That may be a bit unrealistic for me though...

It started out for me to be a weight loss thing. Now, it is about strength. I want my kids to have a strong mom who can do anything with them. I want to inspire my daughter to live a healthy active life. She is a little bit of a couch potato and rather then arguing with her about it, I have decided to lead by example.

    Great goals so far everyone!

I think for now, I will focus on getting comfortable with 3 miles :)

I'm also doing 30DS, so there's also that to do everyday

I also want to improve on my push ups (i can do regular ones, but I want to do MORE) and pull ups (I can do...2-ish?)

I would like to get back into running and registering for races. There's a local running group that I am interested in joining for the support, motivation, and social aspect.

My apartment complex has 2 tennis court and I would LOVE to play with my fiance, so there's that too...just need the equipment!

I think I also want to do the Tough Mudder next year too :)

I guess I have more goals thant I thought! It's just hard to choose one to work towards. I can't multi-task like that lol
