so basically if i eat the same amount of calories for the next five weeks and do the same amount of exercise i could weigh 14.3 lbs less than what i do now???

That is almost 3lbs a week. You most likely received a "starvation Mode" warning with that figure. That's MFP's way of saying that you shouldn't count on that amount of weight loss. Your body may fight it.
nope didnt receive a starvation mode warning

You do not have to worry about starvation mode unless you are 10 to 20 pounds from goal or plauteauing. I really wish the site set starvation mode to less than 800 calories. If you have a lot of excess fat you have a not fat for your body to feed on with 800 to 1000 calories. I usually can't eat that under 1000 calories but I wish I could because at 300 pounds I know I would lose weight faster and when my net calories are at 1000 or less I melt away.

I like to record that number in my notes section of my diary. I can look backwards at any given time 5 weeks in my diary to see if it was right and most days it is pretty darn close! (One of my friends likes to post the number 5 weeks in advance so she can see if it's right when she gets there). :) Either way it's fun to track and can be an eye opener or motivator all depending on how well (or poorly) you do!

I like this, I'm gonna try to remember to do it
