I'm trying to decrease my sodium intake. The salad dressing dressing that I'm currently using is lite but high in sodium. Has anyone tried wishbone salad spritzers? Or able to suggest a salad dressing that is low in sodium.

Make your own then you can control the sodium amount.

Bolthouse Farms has healthy salad dressings with low or lower sodium content. They are in the refrigerated section next to the bagged salads and they are all delicious. I think the balsamic vinaigrette has 30 mg of sodium in a 2 TB serving, but don't quote me on that....

I just discovered Marzetii's Lite Classic Ranch. It tastes amazing and isn't to sodium laden. It's usually sold near the veggies in the store rather than in the dressing isle.

Agreed, when I really want a good salad I shake it with olive oil, balsamic vinegar, and a little mustard and sea salt. But you could tailor that to your sodium limitations.

I make my own (zero cal, zero carb, zero fat, zero sodium)

Apple cider vinegar, splenda and mrs dash seasoning (any variety, I like to change it up, but table blend and and chipotle are great)

    My salad tips are:
1- I add tons of fun & yummy veggies to my lettuce, so in turn, they are my dressing. I don't seem to need anything else once I start eating all of the different flavors.
2- I use lemon/lime juice (freshly squeezed) as a dressing. Add just a pinch of salt. Great on cucumbers!
3- The only 'real' salad dressing that I use is Kraft Free Zesty Italian. (High in sodium I'm sure, but I'm addicted, so I can't help it, haha!) I add my lettuce to my plate, use only 2tbs. of dressing & then add all the yummies! That way I don't use as much dressing.
4- I also seldom use a Blueberry Pomegranate Vinaigrette or Red Wine Vinegar
    .
    My fav salad toppings:
Tomato; Red Pepper; Snap/Sugar Peas; Celery; Carrots; Sunflower Seeds; Flax Seeds (Ground); Pepperoncini; Vegan Mozzarella Cheese; Black Olives; Cucumber; Romaine Lettuce & Baby Spinach. That's great alone, but sometimes I add Italian dressing.

On a fruity salad, I leave out the Pepperoncini; Cheese; Black Olives & dressing. I add Strawberries & Blueberries. No dressing or Blueberry Vinaigrette.

The common reason why "low fat" products have so much sodium (and sugar) is because people do not like the taste of (liquid) fat. I am not answering your question but, according to Jeff Novicks (you can find his videos on YouTube), When you see a "low fat" or "fat reduced" product, you are being tricked.

Figure out the total calories per serving and then divide the total calories from fat. You will realize that the food manufacturer's "low fat" or "reduced fat" is really by weight.

So why the sodium and sugar and thickening? Well, Jeff says people love those two and so we accept a watered down but still "fatty" product. So when you see high sodium products, check the true fat content.
