I've been stuck for a bit-losing and gaining the same 2 pounds over and over.

It's time to change some thing.

I am considering 2 things, at the moment:

changing my activity level from lightly active to sedentary

OR

changing (lowering) my weight loss goal from 1 lb to .5 lb/week

What are your thoughts?

So far, it doesn't seem to matter whether or not I eat my exercise cals back. This past week, I zig zagged my cals and ended up eating more/most of my exercise cals back, but no real change.

I work out 5-6 days a week. do a combo of cycle, yoga, pilates, 30 day shred (circuit trng). my cardio includes walking/jogging, eliptical and some plyometrics (via 30ds). I try to keep a variety going...

I am down to my last 10-15 pounds, so toning up is becoming a priority as well.

Thoughts or suggestions? what else should I be thinking about?
be kind. thanks in advance.

I think I will try lowering my wt loss goal first....dropped it to .5 per week. it upped my cals a bit....so we'll see.

I will think about taking some time off from working out-perhaps give the higher cals a little time and see what happens....and finish up the 30ds, then think about trying that. I think I have about 7-8 days left of the 30ds first time through...so we'll see.

    thanks for thoughts!

After plateauing at 15 pounds from my goal I had to lower my goal to 0.5 pounds/week. Worked like a charm and busted a 2 month long plateau! It is almost impossible to lose more than that when you are in the final stretch of weight loss.
