help! is this normal?

is it normal to have bloody runny poop? i dont go often and i went today and it was bloody. is that "normal"? and what should i do about it? sorry for being crude but i wonder if it has to do with what i eat.

    No, not normal.
    There a few reasons why you could have "runny poop" but having blood in there is not usual and you need to ask your doctor about this.

    Is the blood bright red or is it darker in color??? Since having children I have bad hemroids (I know TMI but it is relevant I promise) anytime I go a lot or have diarhea or sometimes with constipation it will irritate them and cause them to bleed (bright red). I know I went to the doctor and the first question he asked was what color the blood was, they seem to be more concerned with darker colored blood, but I would still recommend making an appointment just to be on the safe side. Good luck.

    this could also be a sign of gluten intolerance. Dr visit is a good idea!!

    my sister has ulcertive colitis its similar to crohns

    I have crohns,sometimes too much fiber can trigger a flare and if colitis runs in familt ,it's best you have it checked...asap!
