Black Gram Flour

So I was getting fed up of not eating junk food :P
I was checking the backs of all the packets of crisps I used to eat for the best one for my diet :P
And I discovered that the spar poppadoms (mini) bag had in the 40g package 10g of carbohydrate to 6g of protein to 14.8g of fat.
Now obviously for people avoiding fat that's a bad thing, but for me where I am aiming for a high percentage of my calories from fat and to stay under 50g of carbohydrate (which I failed - but on other days I go for under 100 if I just cant manage the 50).
So I was like "awesome, what do they make this out of!"
And the answer on the back of the pack (surprisingly few ingredients in it too) was "black gram flour" (fried in rapeseed oil, I am worried about hydrogenation there but it didn't mention containing hydrogenated oils... ). I dunno how that differs from normal gram flour or if it does but it piqued my interest...

Anyway I was kind of happy about finding a snack like that even though my general daily diet rules say I shouldn't eat it (because it's still processed food). And I might look into getting some of that black gram flour although not to use in excess because that ratio, while better than wheat flour, is still bad if you take the fat out :P
