Posting my first NSV(s)

I felt like it's time to share an NSV, or two.
Before I started keeping track of my calories on my phone, I was almost to the point of cutting a notch in the end of my belt, the wrong end! About two weeks ago, I did add a notch in my belt for fear of my pants falling down while at work! I'm to the point that I need to cut another notch again, in the right end!
I signed up with MFP on March 24, 2011. To date, just over 110 days, I've lost 44 pounds! I wish I'd taken measurements when I started, so I could see the inches lost here and there, too. I've found some pictures, but not sure if I'm ready to post them yet.
I FEEL GREAT!!!

This is awesome! I'm so happy for you. To literally go from opposite ends of the belt notch spectrum is a truly awesome thing. Just using that you should be able to pretty accurately figure how many inches you've lost in addition to pounds. Congratulations!0

congratulations!!! I too didnt do measurements
BUT I went from size 12 to size 4 so far
I have been on this journey for 2.5 years almost (next month will be halfway to 3 yrs!). I went from size 12 to size 6 fairly quickly, I believe I was a size 6 November 2009. I was a size 8 the summer of 2009
. I recently got into size 4 shorts. (May 10th of this year). I am in size 4/5 in pants right now, but I haven't wore them since its too warm out!
. I am a size 8 in black jeans because its different apparently. Good Job!!!
Keep going!!

It's funny that you mentioned this. Since I started this deployment (March 17th, 2011) I started making permanent marker lines in my belt. I now have 4 lines (March, April, May 17th, and now July 10th... cause there wasn't a whole lot of improvement between May and June.) There currently is about 4 inches difference. It's great to see that as a reminder that you've made a huge impact, even if you don't always see it looking in a mirror. Keep up the good work, and you'll be making more notches soon... or even buying a new belt!0
