Why B and A pics are a GOOD thing (w/pics, of course!)

I've been feeling kind of down on myself lately for a number of reasons... but one of those reasons was that I felt like I got lazy with this weight loss thing and I had slacked on the exercise and was just feeling 'blah' about it all... I decided recently that I needed to get my rear back in gear and start DOING something again, so in addition to continuing with my c25k program, tonight was my official day 1 of my second round with the 30 Day Shred. Now... I was brave enough to take (and post) before and after pics with round one, so I figured I should do the same thing for round 2... I had my BF take the pics and when I loaded them into the computer I decided to compare them with my B and A's from round one... It wasn't MUCH of a difference, but it was enough to put the fire back under my butt to get me moving again... If I could change like that doing so little, imagine what would happen if I actually TRIED again... lol. Needless to say I'm back on track and ready to push it out all over again. I thought maybe I could helpa few others out by sharing this mini-epiphany and my pics... So I really hope this helps some of you...

Thank you so much for sharing!! You look amazing, you are such an inspiration! What were you doing before? Counting calories, 30DS and C25K?

In the before pic I hadn't really been doing anything... the counting calories thing for a few weeks, but that's about it... The middle pic was right after round one of the 30 Day Shred and the third pic was taken last night... I had done a FEW of the shred workouts, but nowhere near regularly and I had started c25k... I'm on week 7, so I guess the last pic is representative of about 8 weeks of c25k since I repeated 2 of the weeks... Not a huge difference... but enough of one to be noticeable...

I think I'm one of the biggest fans of Before and After pictures. Some people say "You just want to see women in a bikini" - and while not entirely a false statement; the motivational part for me is that 'I too" can drop weigh. When we see the transformation on people who have lost significant weight; it inspires us to look deep down and say "I can do that too".

And isn't that what it's all about?
