Yah, this is like the third pumpkin recipe I've posted. It's just that time of year!

Pumpkin Pie Protein Shake

serves 1

1 cup Almond Breeze vanilla almond milk
1 scoop vanilla protein powder
1 tablespoon ground flax seed
2 tablespoons canned pumpkin
1/2 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
1/4 teaspoon cinammon
2-3 Splenda packets to taste

Add ingredients to blender and mix well. Enjoy!

Wow, that sounds yummy! I am a sucker for anything pumpkin this time of the year but cant do the splenda. Have you tried it without the spenda?

No, I just made it up this morning. But have you ever used Agave Nectar? It's low on the GI, and is around 60 calories per tablespoon.

Let me know if you try it!

Let's see, 60 calories for plain almond milk, 90 for the vanilla
100 calories for the protein powder I use
flaxseed is 30 cal for a tbsp.
    10 cal for the pumpkin
the spices and Splenda are calorie-free

So between 200 and 230 calories for the whole thing!
