edited September 2024 in Introduce Yourself
Hi everyone,

I've been using MFP for over a month now and love it. I've been very diligent in making sure I add my foods throughout the day and even weigh myself each week.

Here's my problem. This last week, I slacked in my tracking and noticed a change (for the worst) in my eating habits. I don't know why it happened, but I started eating horrible things even though I knew I shouldn't . As a result, I gained back 2.5 pounds in 10 days! What's wrong with me!?!?!

After reading through some posts here on the site, I thought maybe I needed some motivation from people I know are in the same boat as I am. So, I decided to introduce myself and really get in the program

This will happen from time to time!! Remember you are not on a diet.. but a lifestyle change!!! Just get back in the game and make the right choices!! This will not be the last time you make poor eating choices- we all do it!! And that is OK!! Just crack down when you can!!! If I know I am/have/will be eating bad, Ill beef up my exercise!! Sometimes this helps!!! Good Luck!!

Today is a new day get back on track-sometimes I do this too one bad day turns into 3 or 4 and before you know it youve gained couple lbs, eat healthy drink plenty of water and if you can exercise and you will bounce back
  • It happens to all of us! Just get back on that wagon and start a new day. Don't beat yourself up for what happened, that's the past. Take it one day at a time, and reach your daily goals! Good luck!

Thanks for the support, I needed that!

I'm lacking in exercise for sure. Being a mom of 2 little boys (2 and 4 years old) and working full time, it's hard to get time in for me, but I need to start! Seems like that only real time I do any is when I'm cleaning or mowing the lawn.

I'll definately use this site to keep me motivated.

    Thanks again!
