So, I am down 95lbs and am finding weight loss to be a bit slower. As an attempt to speed things up a bit, I have decided to drop my carbs to practically non-existent and keep them very low until I get to goal weight (another 30lbs). Bodybuilders do it, so I don't see why it won't work for me... Anyone else have success with this?

I don't think it'd be (easily) possible or healthy to be zero-carb, but there're plenty of us/them doing low carb (and plenty lower than me!). I'm averaging around 50g a day, all from veg, oatbran and yogurt, but Paleos and Atkins guys can get down as low as 20g just from veg. Think you'd need to do protein-only to get none, and over time I assume that's not good for you. Ketosis is around 20g (and I think, though other's will correct me if I'm wrong) up to 50g.

are you a runner? dropping carbs IS NOT a good idea. it's not going to sufficiently fuel your body. eat carbs, but eat GOOD ones that are full of whole grains, and fiber. but to cut them out, or very low... is not a smart choice. carbs are your energy source, they are the gas in your tank. PLUS if you go low carb, you will eventually eat a "regular" amount and your body will then latch on to every little bit.

If you truly nix all or almost all carbs to lose weight then add them back, you will almost certainly gain the weight back.
