How do you guys put p90x in the exercise log??

Replies

  • I log mine as circuit training (or strength training-under the cardio section-on the days that use mostly weights)

It is also recommended to get a heart rate monitor that tracks your calories also!

I'm new on here, but I was able to enter Kenpo and then customized my calories according to my HRM reading. Hope that helps!

I use my HRM and add the exercises to the database myself.

Do you guys even use the HRM on the days that use mostly weights? I guess that is were i am a bit lost on entering it do you put everything in individually. I know i am most likely SO over-thinking this!

I simply go under Cardiovascular and look up strength training..that way you dont have to log every single exercise. I dont have a heart rate moniter, so that's how i do it :)

I use the cardio option because the way the P90X weight workouts are, they are pretty close to a cardio workout since there is very little rest between reps! If you are worried about using cardio because it subtracts from your calorie intake, I don't follow the "eat your calories back" crowd. I eat 1700-1900 calories no matter if I burned 200 calories or 1000 calories!
