    Beach Boys takes me back to road tripping it to the beach in Nor Cal when I was a kid, and Flyleaf's title cd reminds me of waiting for the ferry to go to the beach in South Texas. Now we listen to Linkin Park's Road to Revolution on the way to the beach!

    "Cowboy" was first one that came to my mind...
    also "Roxanne" by Police--reminds me of the drunken night at the river way back in the day

    Beach Boys are good for summer. The very idea of them made me have to put on California Girls and a few other select tracks—though that's not really too difficult a feat at this moment as I had a lineup of the songs I really enjoy by them already in my queue. As soon as the sun poked its head out on the fourth I had an urge to listen to them.

    The Apples in Stereo, Beulah, Olivia Tremor Control, Jedi Mind Tricks, Deltron 3030, Del tha Funkee Homosapien, A.C. Newman, YACHT, A Gun Called Tension, Beta Band, Animal Collective, Talking Heads, Aloha, Lady Gaga, The National, Refused, select Manic Street Preachers tracks and, of course, the All Girl Summer Fun Band.
