I personally find them hilarious and not at all offensive!
I have noticed some people getting really upset about it though (from what
    I've seen on tumblr).
I think sometimes people take things like this too seriously and become
offended over something that was never meant to be taken that way.

I personally find them hilarious, probably because I can relate lol. Sadly though the advertising is just for America and we wont see it over here in the UK they tend not to advertise milk as much, if at all.....

Neither, really. I don't really get what the deal with PMS is. Everyone feels ratty sometimes. I don't think it's TOM related, especially.

Haha those are pretty good! Not as good as the Whoopi Goldberg incontinence campaign though. You tube it :)

Reeeeeaaaaallllly!?!? You are one lucky woman! Until I found the right contraceptive to balance my hormones, my TOM was filled with pain, paranoia, extreme sadness and rage. After a few months on the pill I currently take, I was like a different person around my TOM.

I really dislike the idea of hormonal contraception, I think it makes people go a bit psycho if it's got wrong.

That's funny. My husband will tell you PMS is VERY real. 2-3 days before my TOM I am a B*tch to live with!

The thing is, my husband would probably disagree, because he's looking out for it, so he'll see me being snappy, when I am not. I think it's all a self fulfilling prophesy, really.

Can you tell when your friends have PMS? I can't say I can at all, so I don't think it's really the issue people make it out to be.

To each is own... I was psycho *without* them! I didn't start taking contraceptives until I was in my mid-30's, always thinking it was better to be 'natural'. I suffered with horrible, debilitating symptoms for over 15 years before I finally listened to my doctor's recommendations. I am much better, healthier and happier on the pill.

Also, maybe I wasn't clear in my other post. I had problems with PMS *until* I started contraceptive. Hormonal contraceptives never made me 'Psyco'. That was my body, working all by its natural self. :-) After I started, it took one prescription change before we found the right pill. But my life is SO much better since starting the pills.

Yeah, I don't *like* hormonal contraception, but after my period returned after the birth of my second child, I started going completely insane around the time of my period -- hysterically crying for no reason, suicidal thoughts (which I didn't have any other time), wicked insomnia, paranoia, screaming mad over minor things like my shoes getting moved -- it was awful. So I went on the pill for a while, and it evened my moods out. After a while I didn't need them anymore, but they were a lifesaver at the time.

I can predict when I'm going to get my period by my PMS. The 3 days prior to my period (whether I know I'm supposed to get it via the calander or not) I get into a very touchy and unreasonable mood that I can do NOTHING about. I'm a ticking time-bomb of sarcasm, tears, and anger. I can even tell if my period is going to be early or late because of my mood prior. As soon as my period starts my mood instantly improves... and I usually have some apologizing to do. Been that way ever since my very first period over 10 years ago. Some people get it bad, and some VERY LUCKY people (like you, obviously) don't get it at all.
