Ok.. I'm heading to the gym to try it out. Now how do I convert this info to calories so I can log this information??? Does anyone have a clue? There has been so much discussion surrounding the exercise caloric info on MFP possibly being incorrect.....

Thanks!

It should tell you how many calories you burned once you're done. Be sure to enter in your age/weight/gender and all that stuff so you get an accurate reading.

I bought a HRM today and for shred I used to put in here 25 mins circuits and it gave 189 but came up on my HRM as 166 which is probably more accurate to be honest.

If you select a cardio activity on MFP you can enter your own calories in the box on the right, as long as the equipment you are using gives you the cals burned.

I just used my HRM for the first time tonight and MFP had been underestimating by 9 calories! That's pretty darn accurate if you ask me...

I purchased the Omron HR-100. It does not give calories. But I did find this site: http://www.braydenwm.com/calburn.htm
