After volunteering yesterday for the Marine Corps Marathon I became inspired by all the people who ran or walked the race. Last night I set a goal for myself to try and train for next year's marathon in October. I'm going to start slow since at the moment it's hard for me to even run a mile. My first goal is to run a 10K in December. So wish me luck and hopefully I'll be able to achieve my goal by next year.

Wow a 10K in December. In my mind that seems like a lot, make sure you don't overtrain and hurt yourself. Good to have goals, just be careful you don't over do it.0
