What would you recommend for my carb intake when I am 144 lbs, 5'4" ? It's currently set to around 184. I am not sure if that is too high or low. I look at other people's diaries and their carbs are so much higher! All of mine seem to be on the low end.

    Carbs should be low. 184 is really high..... I changed my ratios to 40% protein, 30% carbs & 30% fat. On a bad day, I keep my carbs under 100..... on a good day, under 50. Also another tip regarding carbs.... don't eat them after 3pm...except right before working out hard, but not TOO many carbs.

    Go into your goals and customize them and adjust.
  • My mother's a Type 2 Diabetic, and her nutritionist instructed her that 45 grams per meal, for three meals is high enough. If a diabetic can have 135 grams a day, I'm sure you can, too. If you want to go down a lot, I'd say 100 might be okay.
