Calories burned from weight lifting and crossfit

I am new to this website and wanted to know how we can calculate calories burned from weightlifting and crossfit? I know when I weight lift I am sweating alot and I do not sit around and wait like many do in the gym. For crossfit, well we all know that if u puch yourself you will leave the gym drenched in sweat. I am drenched all the time. Advice????

    The best you can do is get a heart rate monitor. It will give you the most accurate info.

    Calorie count varies from person to person, the only semi accurate way to calculate them is to get a HRM (Heart Rate Monitor) and then calculate your calories based on time and heart rate (this is not 100% accurate but it's a good aproximation).
