Consistency is the secret!

Finally after months and months of being stuck at a plateau my weight has started dropping again...1.2 pounds this week so far! I have never given up on exercise.....I do cardio 6 days a week and lift 3 times, but really have buckled down on my diet and "cheat" days on the weekends to one meal. It worked!!! And this feeling is far superior to anything else really!! You gotta be consistent and not give up!!!

ABSOLUTELY!!!!! More and more every day I'm realizing this, it's a really hard one to master!!! It takes a LOT of patience but like you said it is soooo worth itwell done to you xx0

Congrats! And I agree that consistency is very important. I never had a plateau, and I think it's due to consistency. I see a lot of folks on MFP who over-restrict calories 4 or 5 days per week and then just go hog wild the other days who can't figure out why they don't lose. Yup, it's a mystery. :P0 -
That is great news!! I have been stuck at a plateau for about a month and 1/2 and I have just kept plugging away but it is super frustrating when the scale does not move!! So I am waiting for the day when I see my hard work continuing to pay off!! Thanks for the ray of hope and Congrats!!!!0

It will come! I was one of those that cheated consistently on the weekends and now restrict it to one or 2 meals......that may have been my problem!0
